On Saturday, House of Colour helped style our dear friend Katy’s fundraiser, Dinner For Good. All the proceeds from this dinner went to provide camp scholarships, hygiene packages, a picnic by the river (to make camp extra-special) and a much-needed projector screen for Open Arms Ukraine, a non-profit working with orphan children in Ukraine.
The event was held in a backyard and it was so much fun for us to be able to help her with such a good cause! Below is a collection of photos from the evening.
The amazingly talented, Nick Chavez, was snapping great shots throughout the night (which just means more great photos to come!).
Guests had the chance to guess how much of a treat was in a jar and if they were close or spot-on, they got to take it home!
This card was at each setting describing how the money would be used to help the orphans. Alongside each plate was a very special favor – a photograph of an orphan or team member and a little bit about their background.
The centerpieces were kept simple. Cacti, succulents, candles and scrap wood created warmth atop a butcher paper runner with splashes of bright white throughout to keep things clean.
Party time! Guests enjoyed their meal together as musicians, Paul & Sarah, serenaded the guests in the background.
A fabulous dessert by Petal and Posie . . earl grey tea cakes with lavender frosting!
It was truly a magical evening.
